Solution for Obsolete Magnetic Sign Ballasts

New standards of ballast efficiency went into effect November 14, 2014 as mandated by the U.S. Department of Energy in the Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 2005 (EPAct2005). Ballasts for T5, T8 and T12 fluorescent lamps, including sign ballasts, are affected by the mandate, known as the Ballast Rule. In accordance with the Ballast Rule, magnetic sign ballasts cannot be manufactured or imported after November 14, 2014.

As the ideal replacement for obsolete magnetic sign ballasts, our Keystone Rapid Start Electronic Sign Ballasts with Smart Wire Technology are versatile, energy-efficient, and wire exactly the same as magnetic sign ballast for easy installation. Learn more about electronic Smart Wire sign ballasts.
